A quiet space to notice what is present, reconnect with your voice, and reflect without judgment.

Breath & Reflection

Sometimes we become so accustomed to accommodating others that we no longer notice when we have set aside our own feelings, needs, or choices.

Reflection does not require an immediate answer. It begins with a pause—a moment to breathe, notice what is present, and listen without judgment.

Begin With the 4-7-8 Breath

Settle into a comfortable position.

Inhale gently through your nose for a count of four.

Hold the breath comfortably for a count of seven.

Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of eight.

Repeat for several rounds, without forcing the breath or straining. Then pause and notice what is present.

There is nothing you need to fix or explain. Simply breathe, listen, and allow yourself to be here.

Questions for Reflection

When have I agreed because it felt safer than speaking?

What do I notice when I give myself permission to pause?

Where in my life do I feel most able to be myself?

Is there a feeling, need, or choice I have been reluctant to express?

What would it mean to respond honestly rather than automatically?

What is one small way I can honor my voice today?

A Gentle Reminder

You do not need to answer every question. You may write, sit quietly, return to your breath, or simply notice which question stays with you.

Finding your voice does not always begin with speaking loudly. Sometimes it begins with listening inwardly.
